One person, a small number of guides, and a rule about not wasting your money.
I'm TJ. I'm a high school basketball player from Eastvale, California, and I build Guidevault.
It started with recruiting. I was a talented player with no idea how any of it actually worked — which emails get read, what a coach does with a highlight tape in the first fifteen seconds, which showcases are worth the entry fee. There was plenty of advice online. What there wasn't was a system: a thing you could open on a Tuesday and know what to do next.
So I built one for myself. Then I organized it well enough that another player could run it. That's the whole idea behind Guidevault.
What a Guidevault guide is
Every guide starts with one specific problem and one specific person who has it. Then it does four things:
- Puts the steps in order. Not a list of tips — a sequence, so you always know what comes next.
- Gives you the tools. Worksheets, checklists, templates and trackers you fill in. The parts you can't get from a video.
- Tells you what it can't do. Every guide has a "who this is not for" section, and none of them promise an outcome that depends on someone else's decision.
- Shows its work. Where a guide depends on rules that change — eligibility, federal loan programs, platform pricing — it's dated and sourced, so you can see how current it is and what to re-check.
What I won't do
No invented reviews. No fake countdown timers. No crossed-out prices that were never real. No claims about how much money you'll make or how fast. If I haven't verified something, the guide says so instead of sounding confident.
I'd rather sell four guides I can defend line by line than forty I can't.
Where I am right now
Guidevault is early. There are a small number of guides, a small number of customers, and no reviews section yet, because I'm not going to write one before real buyers have said something real. That will change — honestly or not at all.
